This recipe is all about your caramel sauce that plays up the flavors and leaves you wanting to eat the whole pan at one time. It gives you all the flavors of sweet and salty, without making the dessert too salty.

Ingredients for the brownies:

This recipe is so easy and fast that all you need is boxed brownie mix! Any type will do and it will taste amazing. If you prefer scratch made brownies, any of your favorite brownie recipes will do!

Ingredients for the Caramel Sauce:

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1/4 cup of water

  • 4 tablespoons of butter cut into cubes

  • 1/4 cup of heavy cream

  • Sea salt to top it all off with

How to make it:

  • Make your boxed brownies or favorite brownie recipe from scratch and let them cool

  • In a small saucepan, put sugar and water in and heat it up over medium hear

  • Use a wooden spoon to mix it all together

  • Bring the mixture to a boil and keep stirring it frequently so it does not burn on the bottom

  • Increase the heat from medium to high, and and allow it to boil until it is a ddeep gold color

  • Do not stir the mixture during this time. Allow to go for 4-5 minutes

  • Turn the heat off, and stir in the cubed butter and heavy cream (the mixture will start to bubble up. This is normal, but be careful not to get burned!)

  • Let mixture cool in pan slightly until it begins to thicken

  • Pour slightly cooled mixture over completely cooled brownies

  • Sprinkle very generously with sea salt

  • Allow the brownies to sit for about 20 minutes before slicing and serving...or just digging in!


2. Salted Caramel Pudding

  • 1 box vanilla pudding

  • 2/3 cups milk

  • 3/4 cups vodka (optional!)

  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

  • 1 heaping tablespoon sea salt

How to make it:

  • In a large mixing bowl, mix together box of vanilla pudding mix, milk, and vodka if using. Once well combined, put it in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes to allow it to set

  • Fold in 1/2 cup of cool whip and the caramel sauce

  • Scoop into bowls, shot glasses, chilled china glasses, etc. and garnish with some whip cream and more caramel sauce drizzled on top. Don't forget to add the salt sprinkled on top to really give it that salty caramel, sweet taste


3. Salted Caramel Banana Pudding

You are probably thinking that banana pudding is so good that it should be left alone and not messed with! However, adding salted caramel to banana pudding only adds to the flavor instead of detracting from anything you love about your favorite banana pudding recipe. You will fall in love with banana pudding on a whole other level with this amazing recipe!


  • 1 1/3 cup milk

  • 1 box of vanilla pudding mix

  • 3 cups of heavy cream

  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk

  • 1/4 cups of powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • 2 1/3 cups of caramel (it will be divided)

  • 1 box of vanilla wafers

  • 4 very ripe bananas sliced into small circle slices

  • sea salt to garnish

How to make it:

  • In a large bowl, mix together your milk, pudding mix, and sweetened condensed milk. Use a whisk to mix thoroughly, making sure there are no lumps, and refrigerate 5 minutes, or until set.

  • In another large bowl mix together the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat it thoroughly on high speed until stiff peaks start to form (usually takes about 2-3 minutes). Set half of this mixture off to the side. Use the other half and fold it into your pudding mixture

  • Add 1/3 cups of caramel into the pudding mixture

  • Grab a trifle dish, cover the bottom of it with vanilla wafers

  • Top those cookies with 1/3 of your caramel pudding mixture

  • Put on another layer of wafer cookies

  • Add a layer of bananas

  • Drizzle caramel on top and sprinkle with salt

  • Repeat that process of layering pudding, cookies, bananas, caramel, and salt, until you reach the top of the dish

  • Refrigerate for a minimum of 3 hours or totally overnight

  • Once put on a plate to serve, add a squirt of whip cream and crumbled cookies to garnish


4. Salted caramel sheet cake

With this sheet cake recipe, there will be no way that you can eat one piece. This mouth-watering cake will make even the most disciplined, non-sweets eater go back to the table for seconds...maybe even thirds!

Ingredients for the cake:

  • 1 cup of room temperature softened butter

  • 1 cup of packed dark brown sugar

  • 2 eggs- set out and at room temperature

  • 1 teaspoons of pure vanilla

  • 1/2 cup of plain yogurt

  • 2 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour (keep your bag of flour out so you can flour your baking pan

  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoons of kosher or sea salt

  • 1 cup of WHOLE milk

Ingredients for the caramel frosting:

  • 1/2 cups of butter

  • 1 cup of dark brown sugar-packed

  • 6 tablespoons of whole milk (this will be divided)

  • 3 cups of powdered sugar (must be sifted)

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • 1/4 teaspoons kosher or sea salt

  • Salted caramel sauce

  • Toffee Bits

  • Sea Salt to top it off with

How to make the cake:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, grease a 12" X 17" sheet pan, and sprinkle LIGHTLY with flour

  • Grab a large bowl and hand mixer. Mix butter for 1 minute on medium speed. Add sugars and beat on medium until the mixture isl light and fluffy

  • Add eggs and vanilla to sugar mixture and mix until smooth

  • Add yogurt and mix on medium speed until it is all well combined

  • In another large bowl, put in flour, baking soda, and salt and whisk together.

  • Pour half of your flour mixture into your butter mixture and beat on low speed for just a few seconds

  • Pour in 1/2 cup of milk, beat on low speed for about 5 seconds

  • Repeat this process until all of the flour and milk is combined in butter mixture until it is smooth

  • Be careful not to over-mix the mixture. Only mix until combined

  • Spread the batter into your prepared pan. Using a rubber spatula to smooth it into a smooth even layer

  • Bake until it is lightly brown on top- for about 22-24 minutes

  • Allow it to cool completely o a wire rack before adding the frosting

How to make the frosting:

  • While the cake is in the oven, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat

  • Once completely melted, whisk in your brown sugar until it is smooth and totally combined

  • Bring the mixture to a boil. Once at a boil, add in 2 tablespoons of your milk, and boil for 1 minute

  • Remove the pan from the heat, and pour mixture into a large bowl. Mixture is VERY hot- carefully set mixture aside and allow to cool for 45 minutes

  • Once cooled, add in the rest of your milk, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt

  • Use a handheld mixer and and beat on low speed for 20 seconds

  • Slowly get a little faster with the mixer until you reach high speed and beat for 3 minutes

  • If your frosting is too thick, add in 1 more tablespoon at a time until it reaches your desired consistency

  • Spread your frosting on top of your cooled cake

  • Drizzle caramel, sea salt, and toffee bits evenly on top.


Each of these recipes are going to be so good that it will be hard to keep you and your families hands off of it! You will want to eat the whole thing in one sitting, but they will taste great for at least a week if you can make them last that long!
